DESCRIPTION:
This Firefly pair replaces your RS232 Serial cable with a Bluetooth Class 1 wireless connection up to 100 meters (330 feet) away. Just plug them in, set the baud rate DIP switches, configure the signal jumpers, and you are connected! No software changes or drivers required!
CONFIGURATION:
DIP switch for 9600/115200 Baud Rate, Auto Master, Auto Discover. Other baud rates supported via setup mode. Jumpers to select DTE or DCE.
SOFTWARE:
No software or drivers required.
SERIAL INTERFACE:
RS232 DB9 Male, CTS/RTS and TX/RX support, Baud rates 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19.2k, 38.4k, 57.6k, 115.2k, 230k. 7 or 8 data bits. Jumpers to select DTE or DCE.
LEDs:
Yellow TX/RX, Green Bluetooth link made.
Power:
Two 5VDC Wall Supplies included. The Firefly can also be powered through Pin 9 of the DB9 Serial Port connection.
