Description: Need to convert your serial Modbus RTU or ASCII (RS232, RS422 or RS485) device(s) to CANOpen Slave, the PKV30-COS product does the job. The PKV30-COS is a Modbus industrial device server packaged in an aluminum din-rail mountable housing; connect the CANOpen cable, the 24VDC power and your serial cable and your done. The PKV30-COS takes your Modbus Master or Slave (RTU or ASCII) serial data stream and converts it to CANOpen communication adapter packets with no changes to your software.
Software: The PKV30 uses a simple program to allow the user to map Modbus registers to DeviceNet registers.
