Description: Same as the regular version of XPort, except encryption is supported (128 bit AES US Government, Rijndael approved). Need to add 10/100 Ethernet to your product, if you have serial port, now it can become an Ethernet port with no changes to your software. The XPort is a device server packaged inside a single RJ45 connector. The XPort will take your serial data stream and convert it to Ethernet packets with changes to your software. A webserver is also built in to XPort, which allows you to design your own pages and interface with your product from the Internet. The XPort can also send e-mail messages when it detects a problem. The XPort has three available pins that can be used as general purpose Inputs or Outputs. < XPort Block Diagram >
Software: The XPort has a developer kit available which allows the user to develop custom applications for the XPort. The out-of-the-box XPort does not require additional software to operate. The developer kit includes PC software to connect and configure your device to a PC.
